This is where Coherent comes in.
Who are Coherent?
Coherent was the brainchild of a workspace owner and was built initially to serve as an internal system.
Coherent is now a web application designed specifically to manage every aspect of coworking, flexible, and shared workspaces. We aim to simplify the task of workspace management, all while connecting each space’s internal community.
Currently, we are a small team of 6 based in the UK (Bristol, Frome, Edinburgh) and Germany (Munich, Augsburg).
The problem?
Anyone who operates a coworking space or a shared workspace knows how complicated resource allocation can be. Chasing invoices and processing payments isn’t as smooth as it should be.
Bookings still require too much manual input. Your communication channels between you and your members are probably still dominated by email.
Whilst there are software solutions available, having a different tool to solve each problem only adds to the complexity of workspace management.
Members of a coworking space, are often lured in through the promise of communication, collaboration and co-creation; a chance for them to meet new people and discuss ideas with anyone and everyone.
In reality, they probably spend most of their time with their headphones in, blocking out distractions, and as such probably don’t know much about the people and businesses around them.

With Coherent, your members manage their bookings from their personal dashboards where they can see how many hours they’ve used, and how much additional bookings will cost.
As the operator, you have an overview of all bookings made, as well as the future availability of every desk, meeting room, and office in your building.
Coherent ensures double bookings are impossible and availability is updated live as bookings are made.
One of the great things about coworking spaces is that a startup can find everything they need in one place; developers, designers, lawyers, accountants, marketing experts and so on. They’re always there, but how do you know who to speak to?
If your members have found that coworking spaces aren’t as social as they initially thought they would be, introduce them to Coherent’s digital community. Our software integrates with Slack so you can welcome new members into your community with ease.
Your members have their own profiles where they can easily find out more about the people working around them and can promote their business to their coworkers.
